Sales – Account Manager


We are seeking proven networking/telecom equipment sales professionals with a history of selling network equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with and influencing high level decision makers to sell a variety of networking equipment. In this position you will be responsible for new business development, mining existing relationships for new opportunities and managing the daily activities associated with corporate strategic selling. This competitive position has uncapped commissions with annual bonus opportunities.


Responsibilities and requirements include:

Minimum of two years proven ability selling networking equipment

An understanding of networking and technology solutions such as Cisco, Juniper, Foundry and Extreme

Superior interpersonal skills for building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers.

Must be a self starter with the ability to generate leads and turn prospects into long term customers

Strong negotiating skills

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Track record of consistent over achievement in strategic sales with the network/telecom sector

Strong work ethic will be a must in this position

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

 

Additional Skills Preferred:

        4 years Sales experience

        Proven track record of exceeding annual revenue and profit targets

        Extensive and successful cold-calling experience

        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work related experience

        Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook

        Experience with CRM and/or ERP software

        Enterprise account planning and management

        Excellent relationship management skills
